Donkey Kong Jr. is the direct sequel to Donkey Kong, except that this time, Mario is the bad guy! The game begins with Mario capturing Donkey Kong inside a cage; as Donkey Kong Jr., your role is to save your father from the clutches of Mario by leading the key to the cage!
Donkey Kong Jr. was originally released as an arcade game until it was ported to the NES. The game features numerous unique level designs, each of which can be tricky for even veteran players. Your role is to take control of Donkey Kong Jr. and advance towards the key while avoiding a series of beasts, which are summoned by Mario. Afterwards, continue the chase with Mario until you finally manage to rescue Donkey Kong!
